Upper Kirby District Killed 130 Trees Over Night

Houston lost over 130 trees last night. The beautiful oak trees that lined Kirby and Westheimer were tragically killed last night. There were better ways to deal with this issue! They could have taken the trees up with the root ball still in tack and offered the trees to a good home. A ton of Houstonians would have gladly taken those trees and replanted them in their yards. But instead they were sneaky about itand over night cut the trees down. It's just horrible. The Upper Kirby District says 140 new trees will be planted by the time the project is over but was it necessary to kill these??? DISH thinks it was a really bad move!
